Anecdotal but NONE of my kids and their friends watch sports


The digital entertainment options for kids have exploded. Sitting down and watching a game is means forgoing a lot of interactive entertainment options.

It has happened to me with non-sports. I watch no tv shows and just flip to an old movie or a sports contest when I have the opportunity to have the tv on which I am 30% paying attention to.
